{{Disciplines}} Regularity Trials are usually conducted as an event within a race meeting. Each driver nominates a lap time and endeavours to maintain that time over a number of flying laps of a racing circuit. On each lap, any deviation from the nominated time will accrue penalty points. The driver with the least number of points will win the event. As outright speed is not the determining factor in a Regularity Event, any car can compete on a level playing field, the skill is in driver consistency.
